The Getty Center Launches New Fridays Off the 405 Event Series with Flavorpill-curated Talent
Los Angeles, CA — Flavorpill Productions is proud to announce a new partnership with the Getty Center, a premier cultural institution in Los Angeles. Flavorpill is curating both live performers and DJs for the Fridays Off the 405 event series, set in the museum’s magnificent courtyard. Designed to expose audiences to cutting-edge musical talent as well as world-renowned art, Fridays Off the 405 present the newest nightlife phenomenon, the music-art mashup, with free admission.

For the inaugural Fridays Off the 405 installment on Friday, May 26, local legend John Tejada takes to the turntables to drop melodic techno tracks while Postal Service mastermind Jimmy Tamborello (aka Dntel) spins starry-eyed pop and IDM whims. While music is radiating through the courtyard, the museum itself will be open to attendees, who can explore the collections and current exhibitions, ranging from recent drawings and paintings by Degas to iconic landscape photographs from Robert Adams.

The week after the premiere Fridays Off the 405 event, a companion blog is set to launch at www.flavorpill.net/405. The 405 blog will track the monthly events via photos, live music streams, and podcasts of past parties, as well as announcements of upcoming performers. So stay tuned...
